Lately

We've had a lot of flip-flopping weather recently. Freezing then warm and muggy. I've been up to my nose in school books, finishing these final highschool years and not for the first time, wishing that it wasn't over yet. There's so much more I expected out of these years, but at the same time I'm excited for the future. I'm excited for traveling (Chicago, Mexico this year), starting some college classes in the fall. The idea of expanding my photography business and making art that matters stirs something deep inside me... but at the same time I think about Marina and the Diamonds and say "Yeah, I wish I was a teen idle too."

But only a little bit. In fact, hardly at all.

  1. Have I ever mentioned how much I love your photography (and you)? I've decided that your posts are best taken with a cup of hot tea (because everything is best taken with a cup of tea) and plenty of time to bask in the beauty and thoughtfulness of it all. Every time I look at your photos, I feel completely submerged in your world; the way you choose to remember your days is a marvelous explosion of who you are, and it's grand. Not many, I feel, can do that.
