Opposites

I took these pictures when the air was warm and smooth,
it laid on your skin like an embrace and said that it would never let go
Today the rain is frozen on the tiny buds who tried to stretch their tiny petals too soon.

It's a different sort of enchantment, still and beautiful but so cold it drives daggers into your bones.

P.S It might be a bit slow around her for a while, guys! I'm finishing school, working on Grafted Magazine and preparing for the traveling I'm doing in a few months. Plus, going on a camping trip next week. What are you busy with?

  1. Ya know, for some reason, I just really like your pictures of chickens. And trees. and goofy little boys.
